Play de Las Americas is a mecca for northern European tourists. It was built back in the 1960's and is one of the island's major tourist attractions.

It's located between Costa Adeje and Los Cristianos. Although it lacks anything in the way of traditional Canarian culture or lifestyle, it's a great place to go out and meet people (especially if you don't speak Spanish).
